A cabinet insert made for the space already there.
Small bathroom items were crowding the front of a cabinet and sometimes falling out. A custom printed insert added a raised edge to help contain them within the existing cabinet.
The storage problem
A standard organiser is not always a good match for the cupboard you already own. Here the useful space was at the front of a bathroom cabinet, with small items difficult to keep contained.
The custom insert
The grey insert was shaped to the cabinet and given a raised front edge. The project photo shows the printed layer texture and the insert in place. It is a practical example of adapting an existing space rather than replacing the whole cabinet.
What a new design needs
Send a photo with the cabinet open, the clear internal width and depth, and the height available with the door closed. Include hinges, shelf lips, pipes or anything that reduces usable space. Tell us what you plan to store and whether the insert needs to be removable for cleaning.
Fit and load need review for your own cabinet. This example does not establish a load rating, waterproofing, food-contact suitability or compatibility with other cupboards. We discuss the design, material and print quote before production.
Have an awkward shelf or cupboard?
Use our photo-and-measurement checklist to start a conversation. For a different practical application, see the shower-knob grip adapter. If you already have a printable model, open it in the Studio to review size and colour options.
Have a similar everyday problem?
Send the owner a photo or sketch, approximate measurements and what the part needs to do. No account is needed just to enquire. Attach your pictures in WhatsApp after opening the draft.
